Logo

The Aurora logo is a circular emblem capturing the core of Mars and human ambition. A rugged Martian canyon landscape symbolizes the raw, untamed potential of the Red Planet, while two small figures stand hand-in-hand on a ridge, representing collaboration and the human spirit driving progress. Arching across the top in white letters is "AURORA," bringing the promise of the definition of the word itself: a new dawn. Set against the colony’s sandy terrain, the design reflects Aurora’s mission as a Martian innovation hub, where challenging environments inspire breakthrough solutions in sustainability, technology, and community.

Currency

Even though Aurora uses a digital UBI, we saw fit to create a handheld version of our currency in order to make sure our colonists see a tangible representation. The Aura note is a simple but unique design. A coral-to-gold color fills the center, modeled after the Martian sand and sky. Glowing “AURA” letters sit in the middle, framed by wheat-like stalks on both sides. Wheat symbolizes prosperity, fertility, and rebirth, as well as themes of life. Thin wave patterns run along the edges, representing beauty and security. Every line and color is chosen to feel warm, hopeful, and forward-looking, reminding every holder that in Aurora, currency supports new ideas and shared progress.

Flag

The Aurora flag is a vertical banner that rises like a dawn across the Martian sky. The violet stripe at the top represents the planet’s long, cold nights, where innovation begins in quiet calculation. It blends into a vivid red, the color of regolith, then mixes into a bold band of gold, symbolizing a distant sun. A final, narrow stripe of yellow at the very bottom captures the pale light at the beginning of a new day.

Colony Colors

The Aurora colony palette draws directly from Mars’ own spectrum. Deep violet captures the twilight of Martian polar nights. The red exemplifies the planet’s iron-rich regolith, a constant reminder that every structure is built from local resources. Gold reflects the butterscotch sky at perihelion (when Earth's orbit is at its closest). Coral, inspired by the planet's dust storms and sunsets, symbolizes adaptive engineering that turns hazards into assets. The Blush color represents the pale dawn after a storm clears; hope is reborn. Together, these five hues form a visual manifesto: Aurora doesn’t just survive Mars; it innovates in harmony with its colors.
